Aa young independent reporter who lives at his mother’s in a gloomy post-war city goes to a nearby city where he will have to cover a political event. From the moment he arrives at his destination, he witnesses the weird behaviour of its citizens and the terrifying unbreathable atmosphere of the city, where everything seems to be, somehow, death-related. The main character realizes that the different people he comes across behave like total robots, obeying the orders they have been given in some Post-its by the unknown and mysterious authorities. These people have no will, they have been completely alienated and they act blindly. They all speak about a new era that will only take place when the necessary figures of dead people are reached. Due to this, some inhabitants have received orders to kill and bury a great number of women and children, and they do it merciless…

Nasrin Farzamnia (Tehran 1948) is BA in Political Sciencies and Law by the University of Tehran. She now lives in Ramsar. They do not know how to look yet is her first novel.
